Med Basin FOB prices for cement, clinker decline in March

In the Mediterranean Basin region, the FOB prices for prompt deliveries of bulk ordinary Portland cement suffered a marginal drop when compared to the previous month, according to the CW Research's March update of Mediterranean Basin cement and clinker prompt delivery cargo price assessment.

Export prices for bulk ordinary grade clinker in the region contracted from February to March.

ÔÇ£In the third month of 2017, MedBasin cement and clinker exporters continue to struggle with the lack of positive trade signs in the region. However, the current year is encouraging sector stakeholders to have a more positive outlook when compared with 2016 ÔÇØ said Raluca Cercel, Senior Analyst with the CW Group's European team.
