CW Research: Indian petcoke CFR prices record slight uptick in February

In mid-February, India's West Coast CFR average prices for high and mid-sulfur petcoke registered a very modest increase compared to the previous month, according to CW Research's India Petcoke CFR Price Assessment update for mid-February.

The average cost of burning high-sulfur petcoke is currently at a premium of Ôëâ27 percent, on an mmBTU basis, when compared to Richards Bay coal for West Coast. In Janruary, the discount rate stood at around 26 percent.

The mid-February update of the India Petcoke CFR Price Assessment also includes refinery and cement production in India and the United States, market and refinery updates, the outlook for the next three months, and more.
