The document recently published by CW Research estimates a 6.7 compound annual growth in consumption for India between 2014 and 2019, a positive outlook shared by several Asian countries. Despite the slowdown in some Asian economies like China, future growth prospects still look promising and construction spending is expected to grow at above the regional average in China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand. According to the latest Quantitative Update to the Global Cement Volume Forecast Report Construction, these countries are expected to have the largest spending during 2014- 2019.
