A cement plant in plain desert

We spoke to Munkhnasan Narmandkh, Chief Executive Officer of Monpolymet Group, the company developing the Moncement project, and their newest plant in the Gobi Desert, Mongolia. In a market dominated by imports from China, the project's target is to put up with imports and assure a production based totally on Mongolian raw materials.

The plant includes state of the art technology including a water re-use installation, providing 90% of the production necessary.
