Indian cement demand increases, in 1H2016

India leads the group of developing Asian countries that showcase the fastest growth in cement demand, according to the new 1H2016 Quantitative Update to the Global Cement Volume Forecast Report.

India stands out with highly favorable conditions created by the weak monsoon and the government's plan to invest heavily in infrastructural projects. The document recently published by CW Research forecasts a six percent growth in demand for building materials for the Indian industry, in 2016.
