A recent report by analysts at Al Mal Capital concludes that the United Arab Emirates' cement industry is likely to face a challenging market beyond 2009: "We have an overall negative view on the cement sector due the slowdown of the construction industry, coupled with extensive expansion of clinker and cement capacity in the market.  We expect an oversupply of cement in the UAE at the end of 2010/beginning of 2011."
