CW Research: Green petcoke production increases in March in India

During the month, green petcoke production improved both month-on-month and year-on-year, posting a 137.2% MoM increase and a 109.8% YoY expansion.

In March, green petcoke production in the India posted a 137.2% month-on-month increase in March, reaching 2,688,034 tons. Compared to the same period last year, green petcoke production strengthened from 1,280,966 tons, up by 109.8%. Year-to-date green petcoke production reached 5.1 million tons, compared to 3.7 million tons posted in the same period last year. This is a 1,421,584 tons or 38.4% growth for the first 3 months of the year. For the year-to-date period, green petcoke production in India peaked in March at 2,688,034 tons, while last year's peak for the same period was reached in January at 1,290,038 tons.[/PAID]{/reg}
