Prices to be set following increases. [$]

{reg}{JCSBOT SUBSCRIPTION=1,2,4,5} The Honduran government announced plans to freeze cement prices in the country reports Radio HRN. The government says the plan will be enacted following a meeting with the Cement Industry SA (INCESA). The company and officials are set to meet later this week. The meeting seeks to ascertain whether there is a justification for the company's recent cement price hikes.  The company has raised cement prices an average of seven lempiras. The move they say violated an agreement between producers and the government not to raise prices any further in 2011.

In the second half of 2011 the country saw a series of price increases for cement. For 2011 cement prices have increased by 13 to 15 lempiras. {/reg]
