Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa, Indonesia's second-largest cement manufacturer, announced on Monday that it reduced fossil fuel consumption by 6% percent in 2008. The company also said that it looks to further reduce greenhouse-gas emissions by 5,6 million tons over the next 7 to 10 years by using alternative energy sources.
