Paper production in Japan posted a 1.5 percent month-on-month decline in February, reaching 900133, tons. Compared to the same period last year, paper production fell by 1.4 percent from when it was 1045715, tons. For the year-to-date through February, paper production was down by 234006, tons or 1.1 percent, totaling 0.2 million tons for the first two months of the year.
