Export rice price increased to the highest level in the last 10 years

The average rice export price in the first 3 months of 2023 reached USD per ton 531, an increase of 9.2 percent compared to the same period of 2022 and the highest in the last 10 years. In particular, the average price of rice exported to China reached USD per ton 589, an increase of over 18 percent over the same period of the previous year.
