Fiji: Building materials prices drop

Prices of building materials decreased last month, in Fiji

In Fiji, a decrease of 4.2 percent in the price of all building materials was observed last months, reports The New Fiji Times. 

The price index for building materials for the March quarter of 2016 stood at 107.7,  according to the Fiji Bureau of Statistics. Wood and related materials recorded a drop of 5.2 percent, cement and related materials prices decreased by 6.4 percent, iron and steel prices fell by 5.4 percent , while a 6.9 decrease was also observed in plumbing ware prices.
