On a monthly basis, cement and clinker FOB prices continue to drop, according to the CW Research's March update to Persian Gulf ÔÇô Arabian Sea and East Africa Cement and Clinker price assessment.

According to CW Research, India's imports of uncalcined petcoke slightly exceeded 0.8 million tons in February 2016 with cement companies representing about 61 percent of purchases.

Global cement volume growth is expected to slow down following China's significant decline, bringing down the average growth rate over 2015-2020 to 0.7 percent.
